Terms of Service

Your content is yours

Anything you write, record, or upload into Story To Book belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your memoir, your photos, your audio, or your finished book. You grant us a limited license only to store, display, and process that content so the service works for you. The moment you delete it, our license ends.

Acceptable use

Don't use Story To Book to:

• Harass, threaten, or defame other people.
• Upload content that is illegal where you live.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password secret. Enable a strong, unique password — we check against known breached passwords to help. If you suspect unauthorized access, use "Sign out of every device" from your Account page.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Story To Book online, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Always download an export of anything irreplaceable.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page — everything goes with it. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

Disclaimers

Story To Book is provided "as is." We do our best, but we can't promise the service will be error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu County, Hawaii.
